The Titrant Bench
A closed network of practitioners who take scoped technical work.
What it is
Titrant runs fixed-scope R&D engagements across instrumentation, space payloads, optical sensing, robotics, bioengineering, and advanced manufacturing. The work is bounded: a defined question, a defined deliverable, a clear recommendation at the end.
The bench is who does that work. Practitioners are vetted, onboarded, and matched to engagements by domain and depth. Titrant acts as the prime contractor. We hold the client relationship, we carry the risk, and we stand behind bench work as our own.
Work you find independently is yours, with no cut. This isn't a stepping stone and it isn't a referral arrangement — it's a working relationship meant to last.
You set your rate once. There's no per-engagement negotiation and no bidding — we'll walk you through how rates are set during onboarding
Clients buy a decision, not hours. That's why scope is fixed, and why it matters who's on it.
For practitioners
Tell us what you build.
We route scoped, paid engagements to people whose work we know — typically around 20 hours, defined up front, fixed fee and fixed deliverable, built to fit around existing employment. We reach out when an engagement matches what you do.
Two ways to be paid, shown side by side before any engagement starts. Full rate buys clean assignment. A reduced rate buys participation in what gets built.
We expect you to clear outside work with your employer, and we will not route work that conflicts with your day job.
For Organizations
Work with the bench under one agreement.
One legal setup, then every engagement after it is a one-page work order. One contract, one price, one point of contact. The coordination is ours.
